There is something about a boy and a girl in the evening grass
She looks down with her pinkie in her mouth
Trying to disagree with her heart in Saying
I see the smile on your face
I know you are familiar with the feeling
Maybe he is the one still seated next to you
Maybe he is the one that got away.
He taught you moving on is a matter of when and not if
Through it all you stayed and if you have not realized it yet
Then here it is
Love keeps us going.
Those memories help us to never forget.
Personally...she preferred the grass away from the electricity pole lights
Somehow love was better matched with darkness
Not bad darkness.Darkness of strength
You know that feeling too? Yes you do
Love,
Me

How to?
I saw a picture yesterday ...a video actually depicting life as a man always struggling not to fall into a hole that follows him everywhere. Some people did not agree. Others seem to sail through life, no storms, no obstacles no closed doors no bizarre demands for what you are owed in the first place.
Let me share a story with you. I met him a couple of week ago and it keeps ringing in my head we had to write it down.
My name is ..not necessary. I may not bear it for much longer. I come from a family of 4 boys and 1 girl. A very traditional and English family. We were pretty much cliché with the Sunday service routine, devotion, good boarding schools. My parents tried they did their best especially for me with bills for 7 years in medicine school and I grew up and got married to my beautiful wife, got a job with the government. Due to bureaucracy and whatever always goes wrong, my salary did not come through for almost a year. I got another job quickly with an international company. The pay is good my kids are comfortable my family wont lack in a while. I love being a doctor, I like the look in their eyes when ever you tell family members that he is going to be fine or it went well. So far it seems like I have no problems. My friends all look at me and say "I envy you" "you have a good job" you look fresh "chaiii massa connect me nor",all your problems them don finish". In church they give me a good seat from where I don't have to walk for long before giving my offering. I am tall and the ladies always say I'm good looking. I guess I look fine...but I have problem my bones are failing me. I will not bore you with the details but I have a few months to live. So even my "good mornings" may be counted. The simple things in life, air, water, love will not be mine again. If they are right that we all get what is equal to us in life then I should feel lucky to know God can entrust me with such faith then again what if?... Everyone has issues. I have heard and seen a lot of things in my days as a doctor. The things patients tell you were done to them or what they are going through..oh if only my walls could speak maybe you will better believe it. It will amaze you what people hide behind the answer "fine" when you ask them "how are you?" There is really no smooth lane. There is a price for everything in life even for the things you think you did not buy.So keep your hustle on and quiet do not think you were cheated your time will come and maybe if I am still around I can read your version of "the rich also cry" on kumi's blog,if not keep passing on the lesson that while u strive for better,be contented with what you have.
Save the lesson.Say a prayer of thanks.Come back for more life, lessons and love

Starboy is no more.
Achalle popularly known as star boy passed away early today around 5:30am at the general hospital in Limbe. He lost a 3 year long battle to Liver cancer. Who would have thought? Achalle is synonymous with"Star de Demains" in our minds. For some people its especially because of his English speaking so in some of our hearts he was the torch bearer for more than just music,he was the symbol of change, freedom of some sort and maybe the Anglophones felt he was their voice screaming for a seat at the table.
Achalle was the first winner of the "Stars De Demains" music competition that had us all watching and waiting. He has gone on to win so many accolades since the one thing we could never have understood how it found its way to the shelf is death.
Achalle you are gone too soon.Your beautiful soul you put in your music will live on.Starboy I hope you shine in the darkness and show us how to go. You must be relieved of the pain now and hopefully you,Bebe manga, tom yonce and the others could start up something from the other side. Accapella may be a good place to start. I salute you.

Today I Met a Lady....
I saw a lady today. W her baby under the rain in midgets and cold and if you had to pay her off for the day,5 thousand will be an extra thousands more than her efforts from morning to night. The baby is so innocent he has to feed.he also must be in the farm there is no sitter in her world. Just her two hands and her prayers.A conversation starts off about millions and she will smile and express others riches, there is a look in her eyes of distance,a land she can't reach,a place she can't get to. Millions to her are in real only in her dreams
But she is smiling she is humbled maybe more by her situation than she will like to be but a girl has to fight,a mother has to come home before sun.she has been standing there for more 3 hours on a lonely road with her constantly interchanging positions one on the other and she is mouthing "abeg". Hoping the next driver is kinder than the one before him/her.
. I met a lady today with a Baby in the rain. I met a possible version of me of you today,i met a reason to be grateful i saw a reason to pray.
My Love(r)
I woke up with a ring size shape on my face on the side of my face just before my ear. I slept on my lovers chest the whole night so I got it. It didn't feel like an engagement...diamond crusted kinda thing. It's a wedding band size. I have never been married but the single people know the sizes and sides better trust me.
But I can't leave him u won't leave him. There is something about being alone, that I don't like in the closet of my life of my love.i don't have a lot of love to give so I can only be a contributor in a love triangle I can't be the equal partner. The wife may be mad. But I hope she understands that if he can take it off for me and put it on for her then im the one he has to pretend for.
I woke up with a ring size print on my face. It's not my ring I touched it. It felt like my truth,my reality and the circumference of my love.

Best Days of Your life
The best days of our lives...our birthdays, graduations, baptism, weddings etc.Traditionally we want to spend these days with the best people in our lives and for most of us the people that make and can't make it sort of form groups in our head.we check and cross off some people because have wither been around or not.
Shouldn't the rest of the ...i don't know 360 days in a year count for more than the 5 eventful ones.Shouldn't the people that sat by your sick bed be more important than the clappers when you blew out your birthday cake candles?Life is ironic.A lot of people have realized that.Another thing we should also realize is that we should change the way we think. My wedding gown....its important its clean and someone holds it but what I really need is a shoulder to crash on when that marriage starts causing more tears than the pictures we took. The people that are there all through are the people that can be there all through. The others are mainly extras in ShowTime.Never exchange the glam for the little things. You will be amazed how much the little things can throw you off.
Change the way you think, change your life.

Joel D Making
Billa Joel Ndey aka Joel D Making is one fashion designer from Bamenda i got my eye on and you should too.At 24 he is handles fabric like no other. If you have not seen his designs then your bucket list needs to get longer and do not worry about it because we got you covered. We also went behind the mannequins to unearth "Joel D Making"
Joel started fashion designing as a career 2 years ago after working with people you could call semi fashion designers around his area and the fashion bug bit him.He is mainly inspired by the late but amazing Kofi Ansah,a ghanaian designer who is also a pioneer in the promotion of african design.
In 5 years he will want to have conquered Africa with his art on rich and colourful fabric and will want his brand to represent easy to use, view and purchase.
When i asked what he would have been if he wasn't a designer guess what?...I dont think you got it right.I didnt too.He would have been a NURSE!!!....Strange right? He comes from a medical background and with his dad being a doctor, following suit in some way felt kind of natural but his fashion passion had other plans for him.The passion had pretty early signs with him earning the name "Joel D Making" as early as the year it was when he was in Lower Sixth. His friends gave him the name due to his creativity with fashion. If only they knew they were having a premonition or predicting the future.
A true designer at heart with clothes that he tries as much as possible to make sure his team produces just what he sketches on paper. He may not have been around for a long time but he is getting major deals already. We all better watch out for what Joel is in the making for.

Some people feel the rain,Others just get wet

AMVCAs' comments
The AMVCAs(African Magic Viewers Choice Awards) just passed and looks like blinds were trending this year. Its either that or Lilian Esoro needs a new stylist, good lenses and a really big mirror...oh my gosh.Gideon Okeke where do i start?one word...well three but one sentence-"TAILOR YOUR SUITS!!!, jeez. Uti,my word! u looked like a walking christmas tree, all we needed is a star on those dreads of yours and your a star. Sika Osei...did you rehearse the carrying of that eye shadow?
Helen Paul, its the AMVCAs not a bridal shower, pailful especially coming from you.Now that we are done with the onions(teary) lets get to the steak.
Genevieve in curry...awww lord that's yummy,Rita Dominic...classy as always,Ivie Okujaye...brilliant and bright in blue.O.C Okeje,u looked ok but you are lucky you won,a gold accessory does good to a blue tuxedo.Mercy Johnson, have mercy on us,you were worth every staring eye huni.Kate Henshaw, pop of color!!! you were all halves of a yellow sun.
Linda Ejiofor what was up with those curls? and girl we wanna see you dress sexier,we wanna see Bimpe burst out of you.sexy, sassy and nicer than the rest in the room.lol
Now to the Hosts...Vimbai that first dress was a breath of fresh air from all you have done last year and beyond,so beautiful and the other dresses.....well lets just hope there is a secuase for you wearing it like #ebolainafrica or #diabetes or something because i don't think there is a possible explanation for that red dress. On the bright side you were funny and fluent.I am not even going to talk about that pink dress. IK im obsessed with you and you brought it.whats up with the red though?i kinda preferred you breaking up that red with the black and ending the show with the second suave and debonair red,but i get it you are Vimbai were supposed to look together.
Next year is supposed to be better. You hear that Kuacbelle Geumini ? you are repping cameroon please be stylish.Im not even gonna boo the Mavins, "Dorobucci" didnt deserve all what you did to it.Thumbs up to 2 Face and P Square.
AMVCAs may principally be a celebration of film but overall its a reminder that Africa rocks. It realy does-you should see my shoes.lol

Women's day...
I went to the market (hours to the womens day) the hustle and bustle was there but this time just with a pinch of happiness,of merry...a big thing is coming. The women have thier hair traditionally tied up but they are all done.,like red carpet ready...sort of.
8 March is internationally celebrated as women's day,In Cameroon the anticipation starts getting built from February starting with the fabric or the material.Ladies always do the proper propaganda by making their opinions known.(usually lots of hate, comments and stories about the origin of the fabric.)
Tailors and seeamstresses emplore thier sense of creativity and design to sew "kabas" (big free gowns) with hints of trending fabric and style be it denim, lacecut outs or even just big buttons. It is eminently a big deal and big day in their lives.Social groups and proffessional institutions come out march and share drinks till its time to be mummy and wife again.
8 March is more of the day to kick off the mother and wife boots and put your feet up.Its about being a girl again, drinks with friends, pay with your own money, tell yourselves you don't need men.Its a silent "see how far we've come".So you see women dancing and going down low with so much joy, dancing to the latest hits, and there is that look in thier eyes that says "let me do this" but if you look deeper you might just see who mummy was before a bed mate and diaper duty. Before she became a better half she was a full thing-a girl, that laughed loudly without being mannerly, waved her hands, listened and danced to music and took a sip of her favourite liquid and closes her eyes. Before she knows it she may be mum and wife again so even if she gets to feel all that just one day a year, she will take it.she will take it any day.
Happy Women's Day.Men be nice,guys be sweet,women be free, I Love You M.
