Hustling...

Job Hunting...crazy right? When you leave school and all these bright ideas about a bright future pop into your head, you also tell yourself that you are going to carve out a good life for yourself and you will be" fine" and you wont get into a mess. SO you get out and you want to try all these different things you learned and liked back in school, voluntary service is getting messy and you feel like all else has failed...then you get a call
In an English speaking zone, and the interview is in french,in a pretty much french free zone...oh yes you clearly didn't know what 'all else' meant right?
Job hunting is not conventional in Cameroon especially if you are not bilingual because the languages create a natural divide that cannot be ignored. So towns that have become hubs for jobs over time or "hustling towns" are naturally a "place to be" or a "no go area". A person wonders what is becoming if French is seeping into places that are considered havens of English,is it development through bilingualism or another side taking over?
